Washington Headquarter Services Client Support

Recently awarded, in support of the Washington Headquarters Service and OUSD(AT&L), BAI provides professional and executive-level administrative support services including program management, acquisition, and budget management, ancillary technical, analytical and information technology (IT)/office automation, security program support, personnel action and other administrative mission support- related duties.
 

Defense Threat Reduction Agency Client Support

For the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), BAI provides direct support to the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Nuclear and Chemical and Biological Defense Programs (ATSD(NCB)) ensuring coordination and integration support services to the Department of Defense (DoD) Treaty Manager for nuclear, chemical, and biological arms control treaties and agreements. This office is instrumental in developing directives and policies, as well as drafting procedures and instructions for DoD Components and other agencies. This includes implementation and compliance verification for the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), and all nuclear test-ban treaties. BAI has provided programmatic support to the ATSD(NCB). In that capacity, BAI supports the office that is responsible for providing guidance to and conducting oversight of DoD programs and activities supporting nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons treaties and agreements.

Additionally, BAI also furnished on-site personnel for the Emergency Management Division Operations Center who were trained and integrated into the DTRA Operations Center infrastructure. BAI’s two primary areas of support included operations/intelligence support and assistance in maintaining situational awareness for Division staff and DTRA senior leadership. BAI personnel manned the shifts of the Operations Center on the Watch Team 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and were committed to the Agency’s mission of Command and Control of DTRA worldwide assets resources, including Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Emergency (CBRNE) situational awareness, and connecting with DoD reachback capabilities.
