Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a critical support security assistant to On-site Security Officer and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) matters. Will assist and support in monitoring SCI requirements for On-site security staff and related activity programs. Duties will include, but is not limited to:
• Preparing classified correspondence
• Exercising accountability for all Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) material at the command facility;
• Readying SCI material for electronic transmission and via the Defense Courier Service (DEFCOS);
• Processing visit request for SCI Level meetings using Joint Personnel Adjudication (JPAS) and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) message system; and initiating, tracking, and reviewing Single Scope Background Investigations (SSBIs) via the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) system.

Necessary Background:
Candidate must possess at least 3 years of demonstrable experience as an assistant security officer in a SCIF. Shall be accustomed to working in a controlled environment with change and security policies consistent with government/enterprise. Demonstrated outstanding customer support, interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills through awards and special recognition.

Education:
College degree and military experience preferred but not required. A combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the degree.

Security Clearance:
USG Top Secret/SCI level security clearance required.
