Audio Visual Support Technician

Work Location:
Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, GA • USA (Relocation Assistance Not Available)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare, plan, and operate audio-visual teaching aids in a Windows XP/7, MS Office environment
• Provide assistance to instructors and other support personnel as assigned
• Provide aid and assistance in transportation and set-up of mobile audio-visual and other related equipment
• Train staff on proper use of audio-visual equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on all audio-visual equipment
• May store, catalogue, and file audio-visual materials
• Must be professional, personable, dependable, organized and detail oriented
• Should be able to write Standard Operating Procedures
• Experience in A/V cabling and routing cables preferred
• Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends
Necessary Background:
1 + years’ experience in a technology based customer service environment. Demonstrate the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize and complete customer service requests with attention to detail and the aspiration to produce quality work.
Competitive Edge:
Formal IT education, MCTS, MCITP, and/or CompTIA certifications preferred.
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a USG security clearance.
