Intelligence Collection Analysts

Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the preparation, validation, and submission of one-or more of the following time-sensitive collection requirements from various sources, HUMINT, GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, or MASINT. Conducts detailed collection target analysis and performs collection requirements tasks for assigned areas of responsibility. Provides timely and authoritative advice and recommendations on assigned collection requirements management area to the chain of command.

- Plans, executes, and evaluates systemic reviews of major intelligence collection discipline programs. Determines and defines, with senior management, collection requirements and priorities.
- Assesses effectiveness of programs in identifying and satisfying informational needs. Assesses collection program responsiveness to command priority intelligence requirements and develops recommendations for program modification, improvement, and implementation.
- Researches current and emerging collection opportunities and develops strategies to enhance programs by assessing collection program factors, such as subject coverage, response time, IIR volume and content, and utilization/evaluation rates.

Education: Education and Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as collections manager. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal training desired. Department of Defense experience required.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI.

Competitive Edge Qualifications: Experience working in OSD, Joint Staff, DIA, or a Combatant Command. Advanced degree and/or coursework, and prior related experience Military background. Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills through awards and special recognition.
