Network Engineer

Position: Network Engineer

Work Location:
Multiple locations • USA (Relocation Assistance Not Available)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to, technical responsibility for implementation and management of network services, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance in support of a mid-size to large LAN/WAN enterprise environment.

Necessary Background:
Minimum of three years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and software products, to include routers, switches, firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems. Excellent organizational, inter-personal and customer support skills. Possess the ability to work in a constantly changing and fast paced environment. Knowledge of network security tools and techniques is highly desirable.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or an Associates degree with a technical certification. A combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the degree.

Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a USG Secret security clearance.

Competitive Edge Qualifications:
Microsoft Certification MCSE/MCSA, Cisco certification CCNA/CCNP, extensive prior direct experience, current USG security clearance. Demonstrated outstanding customer support, interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills through awards and special recognition.
