Description
The successful applicant will support a U.S. Government agency in overseeing programmatic performance of grant recipients for scientific research and education programs. The individual will monitor, evaluate and report on Key Performance Indicators to assist the program office in identifying accomplished milestones and to measure the significance of the program’s initiatives and investments. The individual will be responsible for the generation, analysis, and delivery of reports identifying progress indicators and success measures, deficiencies and potential problem areas, and support the agency’s overall information sharing and outreach efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in one of the following disciplines:
Economics, Accounting or Statistics, and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. The individual should possess a self starter approach to work with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/objectives and take on more responsibility. Familiarity with homeland security issues; knowledge of science and technology research and development programs; or experience with other government-sponsored programs is highly desirable.
Proven quantitative skills and Excel proficiency are required. Exceptional research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills are essential for success in this position.
