Performance Metrics Analyst

Work Location:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will support a U.S. Government agency in overseeing programmatic performance of grant recipients for scientific research and education programs. The individual will monitor, evaluate and report on Key Performance Indicators to assist the program office in identifying accomplished milestones and to measure the significance of the program’s initiatives and investments. The individual will be responsible for the generation, analysis, and delivery of reports identifying progress indicators and success measures, deficiencies and potential problem areas, and support the agency’s overall information sharing and outreach efforts.

Necessary Background:
Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field, and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Proven quantitative skills and Excel proficiency are required. Exceptional research, analytic, presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills are essential for success in this position.

Education:
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required for this position.

Security Clearance:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a USG security clearance; existing Secret clearance preferred.

Competitive Edge Qualifications:
- Familiarity with homeland security issues.
- Knowledge of science and technology research and development programs.
- Professional experience supporting USG agencies and programs.
