Systems Engineer

Work Location:
Glynco/Brunswick, GA • USA (Relocation Assistance Not Available)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Configuration, management, operation, monitoring and troubleshooting of computers systems. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning.

Necessary Background:
This position requires a minimum of three years experience in network operating systems administration. General experience includes operations experience in a multi-server local area network environment. Possesses extensive experience in configuring Windows, Linux and/or OS X enterprise Operating Systems and network software products. SQL Server and/or Oracle experience a plus.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or an Associates degree with a technical certification. A combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the degree.

Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain a USG Secret security clearance.

Competitive Edge Qualifications:
Microsoft Certification MCSE/MCSA, Linux +, RedHat Certification RHCSE/RHCSA, extensive prior direct experience, current USG security clearance. Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills through awards and special recognition.
