PROPOSED FUNCTIONAL AREA EXPERIENCE BAI continues to provided the Federal Government with superior technical and managerial support via a wide range of products and services. This section summarizes our current or recent performance in the functional areas in which BAI intends to support for the Seaport-e program. 3.1 – Research and Development Support BAI currently provides Research and Development support to its Department of the Navy and other Government clients. BAI personnel excel at collecting program information, evaluating and providing recommendations on technical elements and emerging technologies, and providing the necessary technical expertise to assist the government. 3.12 – Information System Development, Information Assurance, and Information Technology Support Since its inception, BAI has been providing information technology support services to its customers. BAI provides the full IT spectrum of design, development, implementation and administration support services. 3.18 – Training Support Training support is a core requirement across all cited contracts. BAI is experienced in providing training support associated with client specific professional, organizational and instructional development. All products and materials developed are used as a resource tool and to increase awareness of mission critical activities under Mission Support Area 5.0 Strategic Systems Program (SSP). 3.21 –Clerical and Administrative Support BAI provides administrative and clerical support, which includes front office support, document preparation and coordination, personnel scheduling, travel and logistics arrangements, executive level conferences, workshops, video conferencing and video streaming support and meeting preparation. 3.22 – Public Affairs and Multimedia Support In support of BAI government clients, BAI is experienced in providing and maintaining technical and instructional products and materials. We create, design and provide recommendations on the development and production of all outreach and training materials, including seminar presentations; quarterly newsletters; informational arms control brochures; strategic plans and interactive treaty training CD-ROMs. Additionally, BAI has provided the full spectrum of video production support to SSP. Note: Many functional overlaps occur in these areas; for example, safety, quality assurance, configuration management and testing apply and are strictly adhered to in each area.
