DHS S&T– Compliance Assurance Program Office (CAPO)
BAI Analysts provide and assist the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate, Compliance Assurance Program Office (CAPO) with compliance support and oversight functions to ensure DHS-funded activities are compliant with relevant international agreements, federal regulations, DHS policies and related standards and guidance, with a particular focus on the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
Additionally, our Analysts conduct cutting-edge science and technology research and support our client in representing the agency’s interests in interagency and international technology policy discussions to include Armed Export Controls Act (AECA), and accompanying International Traffic-in-Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
